Seoul

Seoul is a vibrant and dynamic city that seamlessly blends ancient traditions with cutting-edge modernity. From the bustling streets of Myeongdong and Gangnam’s sleek skyscrapers to the tranquil beauty of historic sites like Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village, Seoul offers something for everyone. The city’s food scene is legendary, with street vendors serving up tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and hotteok (sweet pancakes), while restaurants offer everything from sizzling Korean BBQ to refined temple cuisine. Cafes are everywhere, each boasting unique designs and Instagram-worthy treats. Seoul’s cultural side shines in neighborhoods like Insadong, filled with traditional crafts and tea houses, and the trendy Hongdae area, known for its youthful energy and creative vibe. The Han River provides a peaceful retreat for cycling or picnicking, while the surrounding mountains, like Bukhansan, offer hiking trails with stunning views. Whether exploring bustling markets, relaxing at a jjimjilbang (Korean spa), or dancing the night away in Itaewon, Seoul is a city that never sleeps and always inspires. It’s a perfect mix of past, present, and future wrapped in unforgettable experiences. Here are some of the photos I captured during my visits. Enjoy your virtual tour!

Gangnam Style

A quick walk around the hotel in Gangnam reveals a lively yet curious scene. The streets are buzzing, but it’s hard not to notice a certain uniformity among the faces. The influence of plastic surgery is clear—many women carry similar features, as if beauty itself had been standardized.
