Lunar Eclipse

That November’s full moon was the longest partial lunar eclipse in over 500 years. Thus, despite a bit of haze, I took the bazooka out, stood in the middle of the street and shot around 20 photos handheld (one stupid gaijin in the middle of the street is ok, but a stupid gaijin with a tripod won’t do). Not too bad a result for such a long focal length – thank you IBIS!

Mario Kart

A few pictures of my beloved Mario Kart (from Tomica) with the RF100mm macro. Very different experience from the the EF version I had about 15 years ago: this one focuses just like any other non-macro lens I have – very fast. Besides, like any other RF L series lens I have, this one is very sharp and produces the Canon colors I love and which I missed during my hiatus with Fuji.
