Coba Pictures : inland from Tulum and nestled in the dense jungle of the Yucatan is Coba, a once grand city whose name means "water stirred by wind," in honor of the exquisite lakes nearby. Covering 25 square kilometers, it is one of the largest Mayan cities in existence. In the 11th century Coba had established itself as a strong political entity, boasting over 55,000 inhabitants. Below is the list of the photos and pictures I took in Coba. You can use these photos as a guide to Coba. All photos taken with a Canon EOS 300D (for more information on the material I have been using, follow the link «Lenses» below). At the bottom of the page you can also find a world map showing where Coba is. Finally at the top of the page you can find a link to the conditions for using the photos and pictures for free on benoa.net and a link to my photo blog. Bon Voyage!
