Nikko Pictures : Nikko is home to the lavishly decorated shrine complex and mausoleum of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate which ruled Japan for over 250 years until 1868. Nikko National Park offers scenic, mountainous landscapes, lakes, waterfalls, hot springs, wild monkeys and hiking trails. Below is the list of the photos and pictures I took in Nikko (Japan). You can use these pictures as a photo guide to Nikko and see some pictures of the Toshugu Shrine and its Yomeimon, the Futarasan Shrine and numerous waterfalls. For these photos and pictures, the digital camera I used was a Canon EOS 30D (for more information on the material I have been using, follow the link «Lenses» below). At the bottom of the page you can also find a world map showing where Nikko is. Finally at the top of the page you can find a link to the conditions for using the photos and pictures for free on benoa.net and a link to my photoblog. Bon Voyage!
