Nara Pictures : as Japan's first permanent capital city - 710 A.D. - Nara occupies an important position in the history of Japan and remains full of historical treasures, including some of Japan's oldest Buddhist temples and the world's oldest wooden structure. Below is the list of the photos and pictures I took in Nara (Japan). You can use these pictures as a photo guide to Nara and see some pictures of : Todaiji, Byodoin, Phoenix Hall, Hoshokan, Saiin Garan of Horyuji, Kofukuji, Machiya, Hasedera... For these photos and pictures, the digital camera I used was a Canon EOS 30D (for more information on the material I have been using, follow the link «Lenses» below). At the bottom of the page you can also find a world map showing where Nara is. Finally at the top of the page you can find a link to the conditions for using the photos and pictures for free on benoa.net and a link to my photo blog. Bon Voyage!
