Izu Pictures : mountainous spine formed by Mount Fuji's lava flows, Izu Hanto (Izu Peninsula) protrudes like an arrow head into the Pacific Ocean. Izu Peninsula is the kingdom of luxurious Ryokans and is famous for its tortured coastline featuring some superb scenery like the one of Dogashima, and its fertile land where wasabi grows in abundance. Below is the list of the photos and pictures I took in Izu (Japan). You can use these pictures as a photo guide to Izu and see some pictures of Biwa Onsen (Ryokan in Toi) and Dogashima. For these photos and pictures, the digital camera I used was a Canon EOS 40D (for more information on the material I have been using, follow the link «Lenses» below). At the bottom of the page you can also find a world map showing where Izu is. Finally at the top of the page you can find a link to the conditions for using the photos and pictures for free on benoa.net and a link to my photo blog. Bon Voyage!
