Fujisan Pictures : in Japan, there is a saying : "there are two kinds of fool, the ones who never climbed Fujisan, and the ones who did it twice". Below is the list of the photos and pictures I took when climbing Fujisan (Japan). The original plan was to watch the sunrise at the top of the mountain. Unfortunately, it started to rain heavily around 23:30 and when we reached the summit at 4:30, there was only one thing to do : go down :-( You can use these pictures as a photo guide to the ascension of Fujisan and see some pictures of the way up to the 8th station (where it started to rain). For these photos and pictures, the digital camera I used was a Canon EOS Digtial SLR (for more information on the material I have been using, follow the link «Lenses» at the bottom of the page). Below you can also find a map showing where Fujisan is. Finally at the top of the page you can find a link to the conditions for using the photos and pictures for free on benoa.net and a link to my Photolog. Bon Voyage!
Fujisan Travel : if you are planning to travel to Fujisan, in addition to the pictures below, you can also check a selection of the Best Hotels in Japan or even order a Free Travel Brochure of Japan. You can also check image-japan.net, my other website, dedicated to Japan & Tokyo, and gathering my Best Photos of Japan.
