Pingvellir Pictures : large lava field in Iceland, situated right on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where the European and North American plates are moving apart. In 930 the Icelandic Parliament (Alpingi) was founded there, on the banks of the lake Pingvallavatn, the largest lake in Iceland. Below is the list of the photos and pictures I took in Pingvellir during winter. You can use these photos as a guide to Pingvellir.
