Cottage Photos Cottage : before leaving Finland after almost 6 years spent there, we rented a nice cottage (actually it was more like a house) near Helsinki. Click the picture to see my guide in photos of that lovely cottage in the snow.
Helsinki Photos Helsinki : with its small city center and tallest building only 12 storeys high, Helsinki seems almost provincial and retains a small-town feel but very pleasant nonetheless. Click the picture to see my guide in photos of Helsinki.
Hot Air Balloon Photos Hot Air Balloon : photos taken during a hot air ballon flight over Helsinki and Espoo. A hot air ballon flight is so quiet that it really feels like flying. Click the picture to see nice panoramic Pictures of Helsinki and Espoo areas.
Siuuntio Photos Siuuntio : one afternoon we rented canoes and went paddling down the Siuuntio river near Helsinki. Quite tough because of the wind, it was a lot of fun nonetheless, especially the bbq. Click the picture to see my guide in photos of the Siuuntio river taken during that trip.
