After a 56 hours week, 12 hours on a plane give you a lot of time to wonder why you are doing this...

12 hours to Tokyo...

56 hours in a stuffy room...

Of how old I am.

Whether you're a bold sushi eater, a beginner, or looking to go vegetarian, we've got you colored, uh,... covered. Red Label: for expert sushi eaters. Brown Label: for sushi virgins. Green Label: crisp and fresh.

Unlike many others, Amazon accepts to ship orders to hotels. A 3GPP meeting in U.S. then always means receiving quite a few smiling boxes in my hotel room :-)

An exciting week ahead... Note to self (Mighty Boosh style): Kansas City is not in Kansas but in Missouri!

NWA's hub. Good thing when you have a Skyteam Elite status (even from another airline than Northwest) is that you automatically get upgraded to "first class" on internal flights: large comfortable seats and somewhat better service, which makes a big difference when you've already spent 12 hours on another plane to get there.

On a 3-4-3 configuration (e.g. 777 or 747), never take C or H: twice more chance of being disturbed by a neighbour with a small blader ;-) Instead go for D or G, if you like aisle seat that is!

Space, relaxed atmosphere and good choice of food and drinks, a striking contrast with what awaits me on board, and probably next week in general ;-)

Still going through some old photos I forgot to upload, I give you a rear view of a 1/2 million euro car!

Spotted in Iidabashi some time ago already. Surprisngly the clock was working and the time accurate!
