Spotted in Iidabashi some time ago already. Surprisngly the clock was working and the time accurate!


In the 70s, a temporary tax on gas was approved by the Japanese Governement and lasted for about 30 years. Its disappearance a few weeks ago made the gas price drop by about 20%. Needless to say that the introduction of a new tax was swift... But why taxing users to compensate while oil companies post always higher and more and more unacceptable profits?
